How long have you lived here? procaremed.com Even when, as here, there is no literal proscenium: this concert staging, tellingly directed by Daniel Slater, made a powerful opening to the London Philharmonic’s season. Though the orchestra has of course played Grimes before at Glyndebourne, this was the first time its principal conductor, Vladimir Jurowski, has tackled the opera, and characteristically he found fresh things to say.
